Texas Textile Services has an excellent opportunity for a Plant Manager. In this position, the Plant Manager will be responsible for the day to day functionality of the entire plant. The Plant Manager must implement budgets, policies, and goals in order to ensure highest productivity in a safe environment.
Below are some of the essential job functions for the Plant Manager:
Directs, leads, and guides employee activities to ensure productivity goals are met.
Manages and directs all activities to maintain employee safety. Follows existing policies and creates new policies in order to be proactively engaged in fostering incident-free/accident-free workplace.
Coaches and develops staff members.
Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and improvement.
Establish and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with organization officials, and staff members as necessary.
Monitors business to ensure that it is efficiently and effectively providing needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
Manage payroll budget.
Participates in formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating all operational activities to develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
Oversees manufacturing and materials departments to review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing and facility problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and to meet future growth.
Oversees logistics of outbound shipments and the purchasing of necessary products to complete orders.
Reviews and supports engineering and sales to oversee design concepts with fundamental or new technology used for new or existing products or improvement to provide cost reduction, safety, customer requirements and market growth.
Oversees the Engineering Department to ensure that all preventative maintenance is being performed on a timely basis to avoid any down time in the plant.
Responsible for creating and executing a culture of continuous improvement inclusive of documented policy, procedures, and work instructions.

Additional Salary Information: An additional 15k is available in bonuses if production standards are met.
