We are seeking an energetic, hands-on candidate to handle all facets of a small office environment. Duties to include Assistant to the VP, administrative support for the office, customer service, filing, answering phones, shipping/receiving, email correspondence, scheduling, communication with our international mills as needed, etc. We are looking for an experienced candidate that will be an asset to our company's future.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls
Schedule and organize appointments
Maintain outlook calendar
Write and process email, correspondence, memos, letters, faxes, and forms
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Develop and maintain office policies and procedures
Order office supplies
Maintain contact lists
Book travel arrangements
Submit and reconcile expense reports
Greet customers and provide general support to visitors
Keep shipment log updated and maintain digital files of all shipping documents
Spreadsheets: Min. 3 years
Microsoft Office: Min. 3 years
Administrative Assistant: Min. 5 years
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to communicate clearly with multiple company locations and international mills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Work well in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
