TVS is looking for a talented and experienced interior designer with healthcare experience to join our Healthcare studio in Tampa, Florida. This person would be able to perform in a self-directed manner in all facets of the design process, including preparation of presentations, schematic design, design development, contract documents, model building and rendering, as well as construction administration, while adhering to budgets, timelines, schedules, and other project requirements.
Develop concepts based on given criteria; use feedback to modify designs
Work collaboratively with other team members as to best approach
Able to write FF&E specifications
Increase required technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Spexx and other 3D modeling, rendering programs and legacy programs
Lead small team on a task-by-task basis
Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm
Build and maintain a network of connections and resources within the industry; attend events central to the firm’s strengths and goals
Any other duties as assigned
A professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
5 + years of experience in a professional environment
Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape, 3D modeling and rendering programs
Knowledge of materials, project design, and preparation of construction documentation
Experience in all conventional aspects of interior design
Experience in all phases and aspects of a project is desirable
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Able to work in a collaborative, professional manner
Able to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn
Able to work independently with little supervision
Must be a NCIDQ certified interior designer or on track to becoming a certified interior designer
AAHID (American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers) Certification or pursuing an AAHID Certification is highly desired
Optional ASID and IIDA accreditations
