When required, candidate must make site visits with Principal to assist with scope of work required for the project.
Creates and maintains construction documents in AutoCad and manages project files.
Contribute to the overall look and feel of project interiors with direction from Principal.
Contribute to the development of space planning concepts and generate program documents.
Assist in selecting finishes for various projects and input data into finish schedules, furniture & floor plans and diagrams as necessary.
Create project material finish boards as needed, under direction of Principal.
Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
Follow and stay on schedule with assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Attend and assist with project installations.
Desired Skills and Experience
Deliver design solutions within tight deadlines, with a flexible-under-pressure, positive attitude
Experience with both residential and commercial projects is highly desirable.
3-5 years of experience working in an interior design or architecture firm is required along with 4-year degree and A.A.S. in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, or B.S. in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
NCIDQ certificate preferred.
Strong desire to learn the design process, including FF&E products, specifications, colors and materials.
Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly.
Strong organizational, communication and relationship management skills.
• Computer skills required: AutoCAD, Sketch-Up or Revit, Microsoft Office & Adobe Suite
