The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is a community of professionals who believe in the power of interior design to improve the human experience. With more than 21,000 members, we serve to unite people who share our belief and seek collaboration with those working to promote the value of interior design through networking, knowledge and information sharing, education and training, business support and advocacy.
The Member Engagement Program Manager is responsible for planning, supporting and executing integrated initiatives to grow and reinforce the value of ASID membership through education programs, events and awards. Goals include but are not limited to strengthening established programs, increasing student membership through engagement value, and building a strong prospect database, with a strong focus the student membership. The Member Engagement Manager has a broad understanding of the marketplace and will work to improve the quality of program offerings to attract new members in target markets and retain existing members by creating efficiencies and contributing news ideas.
Do you have outstanding time management and organization skills? Are you detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills? Do you enjoy working with volunteers? If you are self-motivated, collaborative and believe in the positive, powerful effects of interior design, this position may be for you.
Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years' experience in a managerial role
Strong analytical skills and ability to provide recommendations based on insights
Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in public speaking
Ability to work collaboratively
Understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Project Management Software
Knowledge of Interior Design a plus
This is a remote/hybrid role. Must live in the Washington, DC area.
