The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is a community of professionals who believe in the power of interior design to improve the human experience. With more than 21,000 members, we serve to unite people who share our belief and seek collaboration with those working to promote the value of interior design through networking, knowledge and information sharing, education and training, business support and advocacy.
We are seeking a Social Media and Digital Content Associateto support the mission of ASID by serving as our "voice" on social media and assisting with our online presence to market ASID events and services to our target demographic and to the public. This position is responsible for creating, planning, and managing all aspects of the ASID social media presence and engaging members, social media followers, and the public with an innovative outreach strategy. The Social Media and Digital Content Associate will also assist with copy writing/editing, crafting website content, e-newsletters, and email content.
Are you passionate about social media marketing and engagement? Are you detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills? If you are self-motivated, collaborative and believe in the positive, powerful effects of interior design, this position may be for you.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in digital content creation for email, website, and social media with advanced experience in social media marketing planning and content creation, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
Traditional writing skills and expertise in copyediting (AP Style) required.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
This is a remote/hybrid role. Must live in the Washington, DC area.
