Do you have experience working with MDF wood, welding, and CNC machinery? If so, you will be an ideal candidate for this role!

We are looking for a skilled Automotive Specialist to lead a project and help us with vehicle stretching and interior conversions. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and create custom interiors for a variety of vehicles - namely Cadillac Escalades and Mercedes Sprinter.

As the head of our modification garage, you will oversee the entire manufacturing process, determining which modifications can be handled in-house and which require outsourced contractors. You will have the autonomy to build and lead a skilled team, ensuring that every project meets the highest industry standards in quality, safety, and luxury craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
-Lead and execute vehicle customization projects, from concept to completion
-Modify vehicle structures, including stretching frames and raising roofs
-Oversee high-end interior conversions, integrating luxury features and functional design
-Ensure all modifications comply with safety regulations and structural integrity standards
-Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
-Hire and supervise technicians, welders, and contractors as needed
-Assess which aspects of the manufacturing process should be handled in-house vs. outsourced

Scope of Work
-Vehicle Stretching: Assist in the process of stretching vehicles to custom specifications, ensuring structural integrity and design precision.
-Interior Conversions: Design and build custom interiors using MDF wood, including fabrication, fitting, and finishing.
-CNC Design: Utilize CNC machinery to create precise components and interior parts that align with our design specifications.
-Basic Welding: Perform welding tasks for structural modifications and customization as required (this task can be contracted out)
-Collaboration & Design: Work closely with the design and engineering teams to bring concepts to life, ensuring both aesthetic and functional excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Knowledge or experience in vehicle interior design or stretching vehicles would be ideal
-Experience with CAD software for design (preferred but not essential).
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
-Ability to delegate and conduct due diligence on unknown variables

Pay/Hours
-Pay is discretionary based on talent and experience.

We require the applicant to lead the project and provide direction in building the necessary team needed to fulfil our end product. The applicant will have the perogitive to contract out/outsource some elements of the project out to other individuals. The end goal is to have a factory with staff that will be able to stretch vehicles and convert the interior with ease.
